  1. Hi Richie,

It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey program, writing to you from my home in small town in Canada.

I see you've written about making pancakes. Yum!! They're definitely one of my favourite foods - we had some for breakfast just last Saturday. Maple syrup is produced in the area in which I live so we always have lots of maple syrup in the fridge, ready for our pancakes. I also like to put a little butter on mine, to start.

What is your favourite pancake topping? Are you a fan of syrup or jam?

I'm so glad that you're participating in the Summer Learning Journey program - good for you! I hope you're really enjoying it!

I'm looking forward to reading more of your postings!

    Cheers,

    Leslie
