SLJ - Week Four Day Three - Activity 3: Feast or Famine

If I had the opportunity to travel to Uganda and meet some kids I would go. I would go for 40 hours to learn, play and have fun with some kids running from there home because of war. In the video, it looks like they have forgotten, which is good because they can move on with their lives. I would also love to help with fundraisings and stuff like that. Kids over there seem nice and I would love to be apart of their future. I just hope that kids without their parents can still be strong and move on with their life and become someone better than themselves.

  1. The 40hr famine is such an easy way to raise awareness for so many causes...Keep an eye out for the 2020 date. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

    1. Hey there Mrs Collins, Thanks for the comment. I also agree that it is a good way to raise awareness. If you had had the power to do some thing like this what would you do? Thanks for the advice too!

  2. Hey Richie!

Congrats on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity! You must be really brave to enter in the 40 hr famine! You do know that you can't eat for a few days if you enter in the program! Do you have any other charities you would help?

    Keep up the great work!

    2. Hi there Saia, Yeah I know that I wouldn't eat for a few days but that's alright because I will be with some really good people and it would be worth it. I really don't know a lot about charities but I would help any charities in any way I can. Hope you are having a great day.
