My family background is pretty interesting to me but I don’t know a lot about it. My mum is Samoan and my dad is Indian. I really don’t know much about my family background but I do know that my dad was born in India and raised in Thailand. My Mum was born in Samoa but raised in New Zealand. I also know that my mum's mum is Samoan and my mum’s dad is Niuean. My dad’s mum and dad are both Indian. So I have a bit of Indian, Samoan and Niuean in my blood.

SLJ - Week One Day One - Activity 2: Discovering Aotearoa

Hi Richie, this is Mrs Collins and I'll be commenting on blogs over the term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I like the narrative you created on "Discovering Aotearoa" and sharing about your family history. When we moved to New Zealand we too had to leave all of our family behind in England, but they, and some of our friends, have been out to visit many times...perhaps you could create a DLO or an Infographic to add some visuals to the posting next time.
